ZenTime For Mac

Zen Time aims to help you focus on getting done one task at a time: you get to start a task timer that has to be stopped only when the job is completed, or if you had got distracted.

Note that Zen Time only logs the time blocks that represent successful focus sessions: if you press the Cancel button the data is lost. The statistical info can be easily exported to a CSV file.

Upon launch, Zen Time places a new icon in your status bar and allows you to access the timer panel with a simple mouse click. In the Zen Time main panel, you get to input the task name, and start the timer.

The Zen Time panel remains active until you press the status bar icon again, so you can choose to see the timer progress at all time. Since the Zen Time panel is not very large, you can keep it visible without sacrificing too much desktop space.

Each timer comes with two buttons: one that lets you specify that you have managed to complete the task at hand without getting distracted, and another that enables you to cancel the logging whenever you get sidetracked.

The time blocks that represent successfully completed tasks are automatically added to the daily timer that you can see in the Zen Time window before starting a new job. The same area offers you the option to export the logged data to a CSV file.
