To avoid wasting time an efficient solution for sharing files, links or files with your friends or coworkers is indicated. Worml is designed to fill that position and offers you the possibility to send or receive data via intuitive drag and drop actions.

What’s more, even though you need to create an account, Worml transfers the information only between the target and source computers. The app is not using third party servers to sync the data, hence the processing time is reduced.

Working with Worml is quite intuitive: in the status bar menu you can view your current contacts, decide to create a public link or take a public screenshot. The same area provides access to the Preferences window where you can manage your contacts, specify the download location, customize the app behavior and more.

Worml is able to deal with all types of files and does not impose size limitations. At the same time, it can create short URLs to a file inside your computer: anyone that has that link can download the data, regardless if it is using the Worml app or not.

Since the transferred data does not seem to be encrypted in any way and you do not have any control over the sharing rights, you should be careful that the shared data is indeed public.

During our test, the application ran smoothly but we had not been able to transfer any type of data between different computers. However, Worml was able to share public screenshots, most likely by uploading them on the Worml.me server.

All things considered, Worml proposes a very interesting concept which can prove to be very efficient but fails to deliver. Moreover, the application does not encrypt the data or take any other security measures, so you must be careful what type of information you choose to share.
