WPXO, short for Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, is a discreet and smooth-running companion application for Microsoft Office, which provides a quick and intuitive way to view the last 50 Office documents you have opened.

What is more, you can use WPXO to swiftly and easily launch Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel or Outlook directly form your Mac’s status bar menu. The status bar menu helps you view the last files you have worked on. You can also view any of the displayed documents in a Finder window by simply pressing the command key while clicking on the file.

The Preferences window helps you enable or disable the launch at login option and choose the sorting criteria. On top of that you can set the number of documents that are displayed in the drop-down menu.

In order for WPXO to function properly you need to have Microsoft Office 2011 installed on your Mac before launching the app. Also, WPXO is not a replacement for Microsoft Office and does not provide a word processor, spreadsheet or presentation app.
