WALTR PRO For Mac

Many people will already be familiar with WALTR, as the app was originally released years ago as a way to help users transfer files to their iOS devices, especially formats that are normally incompatible with Apple devices.

WALTR PRO improves upon the previous version in many ways, providing more customization options, support for Apple Music and M1 devices, local conversion, and much more.

Apple is notorious for making it overly complicated to transfer files to mobile devices. Syncing via official services is the norm, which gets very annoying if all you want is to quickly send a file to your iPhone. And if it's a file that isn't supported by Apple's services, you're gonna have a bad time.

WALTR PRO makes things easy. If your mobile device is connected via USB or Wi-Fi, you can just drop any file in the app's UI, and it will be sent to your device immediately. If it's in an unsupported format, it will be converted automatically.

WALTR 2 only lets you transfer files to another device, but WALTR PRO also supports local conversion. You can change files into an Apple-friendly format and just keep them on your Mac for later use.

When converting media files, you can also edit metadata before transferring them. These will be sent to the appropriate app on your phone (Apple Music, Books, Apple TV), in a format that is supported by these services. You can also select a different app if one is available on your device.

Unlike WALTR 2, the newer version of the app allows you to send any file to your iOS device. However, you will need to install Files by WALTR on your iPhone to be able to receive and manage them.

WALTR PRO is a great app for users who frequently transfer files to their iOS/iPadOS devices, particularly if those files need to be converted to a compatible format beforehand. It is incredibly easy to use, and the new local conversion feature makes it quite versatile as well.
