VipRiser For Mac

VipRiser is a small macOS application that resides in your status bar and offers you the possibility to quickly create PDF documents. The utility is a virtual printer, which means that it can be used from any app that can send documents to the printer.

The first time when you launch the VipRiser application, you will be asked to install the VipRiser printer driver: this is necessary, but if you want to delay the process, you can always launch the installation from the VipRiser status bar menu.

The same area enables you to change the default output location for the generated PDFs: Desktop, Dropbox, iTunes, Kindle, or RSS server. Further customization options are available in the Preferences window: you can setup a custom output folder, change the default name for the iTunes ebook list, input the credentials for the RSS server and so on.

Working with the VipRiser application is extremely straightforward: open the document you want to export, navigate to the app’s status bar menu, and select the “Print Foremost Document” option.

Similarly, if you select the “Take a Screenshot” option, VipRiser enables you to capture an area of the screen, and outputs the content to a separate PDF file. Finding your way around the VipRiser app is quite intuitive.

VipRiser enables you to effortlessly generate PDF documents from any app that can send files to the printer. The app can also output screenshots to PDFs without too much trouble.

VipRiser offers support for Automator plug-ins and can be called from other Automator plug-ins: this way, you can easily personalize its behavior, or integrate it within your workflow in no time.
