Twitch aims to help you streamline your workflow by providing hotkeys for quickly launching any installed app, file or folder. Moreover, you can also define keyboard shortcuts for opening web addresses in your default browser.

The Twitch user interface is represented by a simple panel placed on the right side of your desktop. By default, you can toggle its visibility by using the “Command+Space” global hotkey, but you get to change it from the Twitch Preferences panel.

To use Twitch simply open its panel and make use of any of the available shortcuts. The utility comes with a few predefined combinations, but you can easily create your own.

Noteworthy is that the Twitch panel cannot be resized which means that some of its customization options might be covered by your Dock. As a result, you must either autohide the Dock or change its position on the screen.

Twitch offers you the possibility to associate with each letter of the alphabet a specific app, folder, file, or web address. All you have to do is double click on a particular entry and use the Finder menu to point the resource you want to connect.

At the same time, for adding web addresses, you must select the URL and then drag and drop it on top of the entry. To avoid any confusions, Twitch also allows you to add a modifier key to your keyboard combinations.

Working with a Twitch application proves to be highly intuitive, but keep in mind that the number of hotkeys you can define is limited to the number of letters in the alphabet.

Once you covered all the entries, you need to direct your attention to yet another launcher to deal with additional needs.
