iBox For Mac

iBox is a handy package that offers three built-in powerful applications that you can use to visualize your Mac’s hard disk space, find duplicate files and analyzing all nearby WiFi networks.

From iBox’s main window you have instant access to iDisk, the disk analyzer and visualizer, iDouble, the duplicate finder and iWiFi, the WiFi explorer. All applications are feature-rich and can be accessed with just a simple mouse click, allowing you to perform multiple different tasks at the same time.

iDisk is a disk space visualization utility designed to help you scan your Mac’s volumes and view how your used space is distributed among files and applications via an interactive pie chart.

The animated chart comes with drill-down capabilities and, as a result, you can view the space distribution for various sub-folders by simply clicking on the desired folder.

Thanks to the Top List window you can view all the files and folders contained by a volume and you can also Pin for Deletion the files you want to remove from your Mac’s hard disk. The easy-to-read list can be also include sub folders and the contained files.

If you need to find duplicate files you just have to drag and drop the folders you wish to scan onto iDouble’s main window. At the end of the scanning process you can view a summary statistics of the total size of the found duplicates.

The duplicate files are grouped into different categories such as Videos, Audio, Images and Other according to their file type. The built-in file viewer helps you preview the selected file before deleting it.

iWiFi is the third utility and it is capable of searching for various nearby WiFi networks and provide detailed information about each discovered network.

The Network table displays information about all networks and allows you to sort the list according to the network name, MAC address, signal strength, noise, band, channel number, vendor and more.

Moreover, iWiFi comes with support for both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands and allows you to track and monitor the signal strength of the selected network via an animated signal strength chart.

The iBox app is a versatile and user-oriented software solution designed to provide you with practical utilities for analyzing your Mac's disks, for finding duplicates and for surveying the WiFi networks near your Mac.
