Keep track of your friends' and team members' local time, as well as in specific locations, and ensure you never contact someone at inappropriate hours #Local Time #Local Clock #Time Zone Converter #Time Zone #Clock #Time
Many of us work and play with people from around the world on a daily basis, and it can be easy to forget that the clock reads something different for each of us depending on our location. You might think it’s the right time to ask a question or play a game, when it’s actually the middle of the night for your friend.
There is a very intuitive macOS app that makes it incredibly easy to keep track of all your friends’ time zones. It shows the local time for each of them in the menu bar, and a lot of team-oriented features are planned for the future.
When you launch the app for the first time, you can either log in with Twitter or an e-mail, as well as remain anonymous. We’ll go over the last option later on, but it is worth noting that an account will make it easier for your friends to add you.
If you want to add someone yourself, you can just type their name and see what pops up. If they have an account, you should be able to find them directly. Of course, you can also add them manually, and it is possible to add a place rather than a person.
You can find plenty of applications that show you the time in various cities around the world. However, There stands out because it focuses on people rather than places, as it shows you their name, picture and local time before their location.
The developer is planning to add more features for professionals who want to keep their teams organized, such as focus hours, an admin panel, a scheduler board, WakaTime integration and instant imports from Slack.
Logging in with Twitter or an e-mail address has its advantages, but some users might not find them necessary. As an alternative, you can log in anonymously and even prevent the application from updating your location automatically.
Keep in mind, however, that all the people and places you have added will be lost when logging out of the app unless you save your unique backup ID and ask the support staff to export your data. The information will not be lost when closing the application.
Overall, There is a well-designed app that makes it much easier to keep track of each of your friends’ time zones. It is very novice-friendly and unobtrusive, and it is in the process of being enhanced with additional team-oriented features.
