TaskTab For Mac

Keeping up your productivity levels throughout the work week is a matter of both staying focused on your current assignment and keeping track of your daily tasks.

The process of task management can be a time-consuming activity if you don't have the appropriate tools at hand, but, if done correctly, it will allow boosting your productivity levels in no time.

TaskTab is free and slick looking task management macOS application designed as a simple to use to do list, which gives you the option to import and export your tasks, as well as mark them as completed with a mouse click.

Moreover, the TaskTab app will add a status bar item which gives you quick access to a text-based to do list. You can add tasks using the entry field at the top of the list and mark them as completed with a left click.

TaskTab also comes with a task management interface that can you can access via the Options window and displayed as a tab on the left sidebar.

The Manage Tasks Options tab allows you to add and remove assignments, as well as re-order the list of tasks by dragging the buttons on the right side of each entry.

The Preferences tab enables you to set a custom global keyboard shortcut to summon TaskTab's to-do list. From here you can also configure the TaskTab app to start automatically on login, and to display the completed items in the list and the number of tasks waiting to be finished in the menu bar.

TaskTab also provides you with the option to export your list of tasks if you want to import them into another task manager or in another TaskTab instance on another Mac.

Even though at the moment TaskTab is focused on keeping your task management workflow as simple as possible and it lacks a group management feature, you can still create virtual groups by adding a line of dashes or any other symbol you deem fit to help you organize your tasks easier.

Some other features currently missing from TaskTab's current feature set are the option to sync your to dos to an iOS counterpart app for task management on the go and to sort your tasks either by date added or alphabetically.
