SmallTask For Mac

To-do lists are essential if you want to make sure you do not forget about specific tasks. SmallTask is a minimalist macOS application that comes with a beautiful design and allows you to add events to your list in no time.

The SmallTask user interface is represented by a single window that resembles a notebook. On the bottom right corner of the main window you can view the “Add” button which allows you to access the task panel. Here you can set a name for the new entry.

What’s more, SmallTask also allows you to activate the notification function for each task: simply check the appropriate box and provide the date and the time when you want to receive an alert.

If you right click on any of the tasks included in the list, you will access a contextual menu that allows you to change its status to completed and enables you to edit / delete the entry.

Noteworthy is that SmallTask also includes support for synchronizing the tasks list to other computers via your iCloud or Dropbox account. Since SmallTask is also available for iOS devices, you can sync the list to virtually all your devices.

The iCloud synchronization is activated by default and to use it you must login to your Apple account in the System Preferences and check the “Documents and Settings” box. However, if you want to use your Dropbox account, you must authorize SmallTask app with your account and then disable the iCloud service (you cannot use both at the same time).   To conclude, SmallTask delivers a clean, simple and easy to use interface for managing your tasks and allows you to sync the database to other devices in order to keep you up to date even if you are on the go.
