SideSync For Mac

SideSync is a Samsung vetted software solution that offers you the possibility to establish a connection between your Mac and your Samsung Galaxy device so that you can transfer files to and from your Mac computer, keep an eye on the mobile device’s screen, and so on.

The SideSync desktop application comes with a mobile companion utility, and you need to make sure that both of them are running at the same time. Moreover, the devices have to be on the same WiFi network or connected by USB.

The SideSync utility will scan the network for compatible devices and you can establish a connection by confirming the randomly generated code on both devices (you have 30 seconds to perform the action).

If SideSync does not detect the device, you can still set a connection either by manually inserting the PIN number or by scanning the QR Code generated by the desktop app (the SideSync mobile app comes with a scanner tool).

Once a connection is established, SideSync allows you to see the phone’s screen so that you can easily see if there are any incoming messages or calls. Keep in mind that you also get to interact with the phone, so you can answer or make calls, or text people from the desktop computer.

At the same time, SideSync includes file sharing capabilities, so you can send files to and from the mobile device with seamless drag and drop actions. Within the SideSync user interface, you get to review the phone content and see the available documents, images, videos, music, files, and so on.

The SideSync system relies both on a desktop client and on a mobile companion app and offers you the possibility to keep an eye on your phone activity without having to leave your Mac’s screen.

SideSync gives you the opportunity to transfer files between the connected devices, but you can also use the app to make calls or send texts from a connected device.
