STAR Arts & Stuff is a cataloging software solution that can be used to create inventories for virtually any type of collection, regardless if it's for personal use or the archive of a small museum.

Right off the bat, STAR Arts & Stuff prompts the user to select the workspace that should be used: as a result, all the records, backups, multimedia, or temporary files are all stored in the same location.

The next step is to start adding items to the inventory via the Data Management panel where you can input general and physical details, add information about the object’s origin, attach up to 8 media files, or store any other data you find relevant.

The entries list can be reviewed in the Inventory panel where you can sort the items by any of the parameters included in the database record. At the same time, you can perform simple keyword searches, or define more advanced rules for the query.

For your convenience, STAR Arts & Stuff allows you to organize items into multiple categories and also enables you to establish a hierarchy between entries. Via the workspace preferences, you can specify which inventory labels you want visible and decide if you want to have multiple users working on the database.

STAR Arts & Stuff delivers control over the text formatting, allows you to change the default system icons, to set the measurement units you want to use in the database, how you want the automatically generated IDs to look like, and so on.

Note that STAR Arts & Stuff also comes with a kiosk mode so you can exhibit the database entries in full-screen mode while having control over the slides duration, font size, or the type of information that should be presented.

STAR Arts & Stuff offers you the possibility to keep track of any collection by enabling you to create an inventory and store comprehensive details and multiple media files for each entry. The app also allows you to review the inventory list and query the database.

The STAR Arts & Stuff entries can be presented in slideshow mode, which means that you can use the software to deliver info about any of the items included in the database during exhibits.
