QuickDMG For Mac

QuickDMG allows you to easily create a disk image from a file or a folder. It is recommended to launch from a launcher of keyboard shortcut, as QuickDMG can create disk image from a selected item in Finder when launched. You can do so and avoid the need of dragging or selecting an item.

Disk images can be created by Disk Utility which is a built-in utility from Mac OS X. However, using Disk Utility can be complicated, and QuickDMG can make it easy.

A compressed disk image has a useful feature: you can open the file without expanding it. This feature is not given by StuffIt or Zip archives. Therefore disk image files are very useful as an archiving method.

· Internet Enable: If this option is tuned ON, the contents of the disk image will be extracted and the disk image will be moved into Trash once it's downloaded from the Web. · Delete .DS_Store: .DS_Store (Invisible files created by Finder) are deleted from the resulting disk image
