Panotour Viewer For Mac

The Panotour and Panotour Pro applications can be used to generate 360 degrees virtual tours using your own images. The projects can be saved as PVT files, and you get to include them into your own websites.

Panotour Viewer is a minimalist OS X application that offers you the possibility to visualize the PVT files in offline mode, by making use of a local server. This is very useful if you want to share your projects with others, without publishing them online, or converting them to Flash.

Besides the Panotour Viewer application, to visualize PVT files, you also need a web browser: the viewer will simply start a local server, and you need the browser to actually view and explore the content of the Panotour files.

Working with the Panotour Viewer app is extremely intuitive: launch the application, drag and drop the PVT file you want to visualize, and the utility will automatically start the server. At the same time, the app will launch a new tab in your default web browser where you can explore the 360 degree virtual tour.

Note that Panotour Viewer does not have editing capabilities, and does not include any customization options. All you can do is open the PVT files. To stop the Panotour Viewer local server, simply double click on top of the app’s main window.

The Panotour Viewer application offers you the possibility to quickly share your Panotour or Panotour Pro projects without having to publish the projects, or taking the time to export them to popular file formats. All you have to do is send the project’s PVT file, and the recipient can use the Panotour Viewer app to visualize and explore the virtual tour in offline mode.
