OpenInGitX is a free and simple to use utility that will allow you to add an icon to your Finder toolbar which will open GitX for the current folder.
1) Place the "Open in Git X" application in "/Applications" 2) Once moved, drag the icon to your Finder's toolbar (with the toolbar expanded). 3) Click it.
