Okra offers you the possibility to manage the content of your files just like you would handle emails on a mobile app: with simple swipe actions. The app works with any user selected folder and integrates multiple sorting methods.

To make sure that it remains out of your way while still being easily accessible, Okra relies on a status bar panel that can be activated with a simple mouse click. Note that the panel will remain visible until you click on the status bar icon, even if you navigate to another app.

What’s more, the Okra panel remains on top of all other windows, so your access to the file manager cannot be obstructed. The app does not feature any customization option, so the included Settings icon just allows you to quit the utility.

To get started, you need to select the folder you want to open within the Okra app: the utility will launch a Finder window, and you need to navigate to the respective directory. All the included files will be displayed in the Okra panel, and you get to see the files names, including the extension, its size, and the associated icon.

Okra does not come with search capabilities, but you do get to sort the files by different criteria: alphabetical, date created, date modified, or size. The list will adjust in real time depending on your selection.

Okra continuously monitors a user selected folder and integrates different sorting methods so you can identify large files or the latest added or modified files.

Within the Okra status bar panel you get to review each file included in the folder and either send them to the trash or move them to another directory with simple swipe actions.
