Mojo For Mac

Mojo aims to facilitate the use of emojis on your Mac by placing an unobtrusive yet powerful emoticons search engine in your status bar.

The Mojo app comes with a built-in collection of more than 1000 emojis, and each entry has multiple keywords assigned to make them easier to find.

Mojo does not come with any customization options and quietly resides in the status bar. To access the emojis, activate the Mojo panel with the help of your mouse, and scroll to view some of the most popular emojis.

Note that Mojo does not come with a hotkey for toggling its interface or any other type of keyboard shortcut. However, you can choose to place the app in the list of login items.

For your convenience, Mojo comes with a simple search tool that automatically updates the emojis list based on the keywords you are using. Since Mojo displays only a limited number of emoticons in its panel, using this tool is necessary to access all included emojis.

To see the complete list of emojis supported by Mojo, you can go online and browse the full list of Unicode emojis. Mojo is also using the an emoji keyword library, and you get to go online and see all the keywords associated to each emoticon.

Worth mentioning is that, in time, Mojo starts to learn what are the most frequently used emojis. As a result, Mojo begins placing them in the top area of the results list and moves them to the top of the pile to eliminate running queries.

Mojo is an excellent tool to have around if you use emojis quite often: you get to find what you need by using keywords, without wasting any time.

Any of the included emojis can be placed on your clipboard with a mouse click so you can readily paste it wherever you want.
