Mindful Mynah is a simple status bar menu application designed to play a reminder sound periodically and help you concentrate on your project or revise your posture regularly, for example.

Mindful Mynah is designed to stay out of your way at all times once the user has set up the reminder. As a result, the only thing that gives away the app’s presence is the status bar menu icon.

At the same time, the Mindful Mynah icon provides access to a simple menu where you can easily start the timer (you will be able to view the currently selected sound and time interval) or access the Preferences window.

Mindful Mynah enables you to set a single timer and the period can vary from 1 minute to 2 hours. Moreover, the app comes with 15 sound effects and you can specify which one you want to use by selecting it from a from a drop down menu.

You have the possibility to choose between the following sounds: Celesta, Church Bell, Dulcimer, Gong, Handclap, Knock, Koto, Marimba, Shimmer, Thump, Tibetan Singing Bowl, Tick Tock, Tubular Bell, Whistle and Xylophone. Right below the drop down menu, a plain slide bar allows you to adjust the sound volume.

Even though Mindful Mynah does not come with complex functions or customizations options, the app will prove to be extremely useful whenever you need to focus or be reminded to perform a repetitive task.
