Manage all your IoT devices and services by using one simple hotkey and then typing the name of a command, thus controlling everything in your environment as lazily as possible #IoT Controller #Device Controller #Create Shortcut #IoT #Controller #IFTTT
From intelligent lights, speakers and fans, to vacuums, curtains and door alarms, everything is getting an internet connection and becoming a part of the vast IoT (Internet of Things). What that means, of course, is that they can all be controlled and manipulated in new and imaginative ways.
Take Lazy, an app designed to offer the smartest method of turning IoT devices on or off, or managing various web services. Since the best method tends to be the one that involves the least amount of effort, the app's name is certainly appropriate.
To get started, all you have to do is create an IFFFT or Zapier account, if you don't have one already, and then create actions that can be controlled via Lazy. When you're done, get the webhook URL, add it to the app, and assign an easy-to-remember name to the action.
The application runs in the menu bar, where you can find it whenever you need to add or edit a command. To trigger one of them, just use the ⌥⌘K hotkey anywhere on your desktop. This will bring up a Spotlight-like command window where you can just type an action name and launch it instantly. You never even need to take your hands off the keyboard.
