The Kanbanier user interface is based on boards that you get to open as new windows. The app allows you to open as many boards as you like so that you can work on multiple projects at the same time.

As far as the workflow goes, everything is quite intuitive: just create cards and organize them into columns. By default, each Kanbanier board contains three columns (To do, Doing, and Done), but keep in mind that you can easily remove any of them and add new ones.

At the same time, each card needs a title, but you can also store a description, a color label, and various tags. The tags are great to find particular tasks, since it can be used in the built-in search tool.

In the Kanbanier boards, you also get to organize tasks on multiple rows, and there is the option to organize them hierarchically.

For you convenience, Kanbanier can also display the cards in list mode, comes with a zoom function to increase the board’s readability, and allows you to switch between different interface themes.

Kanbanier provides support for rich text formatting, allows you to save or print the boards as PDF documents, or export everything to image or XML files.
