Customizing the default system icons usually requires you to download an icon collection and associate it with the files, folders and applications you want to personalize.

Folders Factory is a minimalist application that offers you the possibility to quickly create your own icon designs for each particular folder in no time.

To use the application, select one of the 4 available customization modes (image, stamp, text or texture) and make the necessary adjustments and the simply drag and drop the folder you want to personalize on top of the main window.

In the Image panel, Folders Factory allows you to add a specific picture on top of the folder. You can adjust the image border, choose to use a shadow or a gloom effect.

In the Stamp tab you can add specific symbols, the Text area can be used for specific text strings (you can customize the font style), while in the Textures zone you can set up an image to cover the entire folder.

In each case you can easily adjust the effect’s size and position and you can modify the folder and object color.
