Dtella is a free distributed DC hub which allows users to collaborate and share documents between computers.
When you start Dtella, it just runs invisibly in the background. In order to accomplish anything useful, you'll have to connect to it with a DC client. The most common one is DC++.
Dtella needs a UDP port for peer communication, and DC++ needs a TCP port for file transfers.
Create a favorite hub in DC++ with these options: -> Name: Dtella -> Address: 127.0.0.1:7314
What's new in Dtella 1.2.4:
- Add support for the Strong/Apex secure connect extension. This fixes the "Malformed Address" errors which end with an 'S'.
- Fixed a bug which causes background config updates to turn off if a node connects twice in a 5-minute window.
- Ignore I/O errors when the output terminal goes away. This was affecting some people on Linux.
