Drone Station For Mac

Drone Station is a Mac OS X software solution that enables you to remotely control Parrot AR.Drone 1.0 over a Wi-Fi connection with your Mac computer or other supported device. Drone Station is compatible with AR.Drone firmware 1.5.1 and later.

Drone Station supports various common gamepads, controllers and joysticks that you can use to control your AR.Drone quadicopter (Wired USB PS3, Wired USB Xbox 360, Logitech Dual Action Gamepad, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X (in PS3 mode), Wii Motion Controllers with Nunchuk and/or Balance Board, and Keyboard and Mouse)

Drone Station can display on screen animated altitude as well as directional and battery gauges. The app can also record video in real-time from the bottom and the front of your drone's camera.

You can view the live recording in full screen mode, too. Some other features include the ability to customize the LED light, see the effects of changes via an animated configuration screen, and view reprogrammed flight animations.

If you own external USB Wi-Fi dongles and antennas, you can take advantage of them and extend the range of use of your drone. Before the AR.Drone flight, you can use a simple drone simulator control check for practicing your joystick controls.

An important thing to note is that you should disconnect all other networks in order for the Drone Station app to work.
