Clyppan For Mac

Clyppan is a versatile Mac OS X application designed to provide access to all the items you’ve copied to the clipboard and allows you to manage them. The app comes with a compact status bar menu, global hotkey support and other features.

With Clyppan, you can easily reuse text you’ve copied to the pasteboard into any application. The procedure is simple: select the app where you want to paste text (via the clipboard) and then click on any entry in Clyppan’s window to paste it.

Another method is to use the Rapid Paste feature, which automatically pastes all items from the clipboard to your app in consecutive order. What’s also great about this function is that it provides a global hotkey (the default being CMD + SHIFT + V).

The app’s menu bar panel displays the first 9 clipboard items, when they were added and from which application. You can add items to the favorites section for quick access, and preview their whole contents by using the Spacebar.

In addition to this, the window also stores the clipboard items you’ve used the most. Also included in the app’s interface is a search bar where you can instantly find words or entire sentences in your clipboard. Moreover, you can also search for apps from which you’ve copied text.

As mentioned previously, Clyppan offer support for global hotkeys, one of them being for consecutive pasting. The other supported activates the application’s window. By default, you can use CMD + SHIFT + C, which can be changed via the preferences.

The Preferences window allows you to toggle several options: for hiding the app when it’s not active and excluding any app installed on your Mac. What’s more, you can even set the maximum number of clippings and toggle an option to always paste as plain text.
