CHM Reader Plus For Mac

CHM Reader Plus is a self-explanatory application that enables you to load, preview, print and export the content of CHM files.

CHM, short for Compiled HTML Help, is a straightforward Microsoft proprietary online help format, usually used for software documentation. CHM are binary files that contain a series of HTML pages, an index, a hyperlinked table of contents along with useful navigation tools. CHM files come with data compression features, extended character support, built-in search engine and the ability to merge multiple CHM help files.

CHM Reader Plus features a user-oriented interface from which you can load, browse and preview CHM files. The built-in search form allows you to search for various words and text snippets with just a few keystrokes. You can also show or hide the Chapters and Index along with the Sidebar from which you can view the table of contents and jump to the desired chapter or page.

The top toolbar also enables you to quickly turn back to the home page, print the file or export it to the PDF file format.  What is more, you can use the zoom buttons to zoom in or out and the History buttons to jump from the current page to previously viewed pages.

On top of the aforementioned features, CHM Reader Plus comes with a Fullscreen mode that enables you to focus on the content and avoid other distractions. There is also a Content Tree view mode thanks to which you can view all available chapters along with other pages included in the table of contents.
