Blik aims to help you access files related to a particular project a lot faster, without having to extensively navigate your drive. The utility allows you to organize files and folders any way you like and enables you to access them via the status bar.

Within the Blik user interface, you can define numerous projects and associate particular master folders to each entry. What’s more, each project can include multiple file collections, and any file from a group can be added to the highlights list.

The latter is important because all the highlighted files are incorporated in the Blik status bar menu, so you get to open them a lot faster. Note that the original files are not moved or tampered with: Blik simply creates quick links to those documents.

At the same time, you can link multiple folders to a certain project, or files that are stored in completely different locations. This way, you get to effortlessly group unrelated files that are still linked to the same project.

For your convenience, via the Blik main window, you get to set preferred applications that should be used to open a particular file. The change takes effect immediately, and the rule is also followed when you open the files via the Blik status bar menu.

At the same time, within the Blik collection manager, you get to instantly preview the content of each included document, without having to open them.

Bottom line, Blik offers you the possibility to stop wasting time looking for various records and documents when working on a particular project. Just group them together from the start, and you will be able to access them a lot faster at a later time, without loosing your focus.
