In order to install Amethyst you just have to download the lightweight ZIP archive, decompress it with an archiving utility of your choice and copy Amethyst to your Mac's application folder.

To start using Amethyst you first have to enable access for assistive devices option for Amethyst via the Accessibility preferences panel.

Even though Amethyst does not have built-in support for macOS' Spaces feature, you can configure it to work with them using Mission Control's keyboard shortcuts for desktop switching.

You can also use Amethyst to effortlessly send a window of your choice to a specific space if the shortcut for that specific space is toggled on.
