Alchemist For Mac

Alchemist offers you the possibility to convert text content to various formats and vice versa in a minimalist and well-organized environment. All you have to do is select one of the predefined configurations and input the data you want to convert.

The Alchemist main window is separated in two main areas: on top, you need to input the source data, while on the bottom you will see the results. Note that the type of data you need to input changes depending on the currently selected conversion template.

In the top toolbar of the Alchemist main window you get to see the supported conversion directions: ASCII to Text, BIN to Text, HEX to Text, Text to ASCII, Text to BIN, and Text to HEX.

The conversion will take place as soon, and you input the data, and you get to place the output data on your clipboard by pressing the “Copy Value” button placed in the bottom right corner.

Alchemist also includes a “Clear” bottom in the bottom left corner so that you can start fresh anytime you like.

The Alchemist application keeps all its functionalities accessible from the main window, and you get to change the conversion profile you want to apply with a simple mouse click.

At the same time, you can develop AppleScripts that integrate with the Alchemist utility, so you can perform the conversion procedure right inside the script, without having to write too much source code.

Alchemist is a simple yet efficient utility that can help you transform text to ASCII encoding, or to HEX or BIN values. The results will be available in no time, and you can place the data on your clipboard with minimal effort.
