AddressBox For Mac

AddressBox is a contacts management solution designed to make it easier to manage large contacts collections. The app can import contact details from various sources, and then allows you to organize them into distinct groups.

For your convenience, AddressBox integrates batch contact editing capabilities, allows you to create custom fields, and provides support for defining smart groups.

AddressBox is able to import entries from the default OS X Contacts application, but also offers you the option to manually create your own custom address book. Moreover, you can also import data from text, CSV, vCard, or Excel files.

Within the AddressBox main window, you get to organize all these contacts into various groups by simply dragging and dropping them on top of the group name listing.

The AddressBox smart groups can have as many rules as you like: you get to filter the entries by any of the included fields, which means that the results can be quite accurate.

AddressBox includes a function that should streamline the way you send emails to contacts listed in a group, but when working with Apple Mail, it will not add the email addresses to the appropriate field.

For each contact, AddressBox offers you the possibility to populate an extensive collection of fields, and you can add any of them to the currently selected entry via uncomplicated drop-down menus.

AddressBox allows you to define new custom fields by merging together any of the predefined field options.

AddressBox also integrates batch processing capabilities, which means that, if you select multiple contacts, you get to change the value of a certain field for all of them at the same time.

Other customization options include the possibility to reformat a certain field, to copy the field content, or to find duplicate entries.
