3DWeather For Mac

3DWeather is a beautiful macOS application that offers you the possibility to grab the weather forecast from the Weather Underground online resource and view the details in a 3D styled desktop widget.

Within the 3DWeather Preferences, you get to set up to 10 different locations for which you want to see the weather statistics and the utility will automatically download and update the information.

By default, the conditions will be displayed in the 3DWeather desktop widget, and you get to switch between the setup locations with the help of the arrow keys.

A double click on the 3DWeather widget window activates a new panel where you get to see more extensive details, and also includes the forecast for the next days.

3DWeather can provide details about the temperature, humidity, dew point, UV index, wind chill, heat index, visibility, WNW, precipitation expressed in percentage or mm, or sunset and sunrise time.

The 3DWeather desktop widget comes with a menubar companion that you can activate through the Preferences. The same area enables you to adjust the widget’s transparency or size.

Other customization options include the possibility to change the temperature scale, to toggle the weather notifications, to decide if you want to see the location details in the widget, to deactivate the animation, to change the theme or icon pack, and so on.

3DWeather can also open within the application the Weather Underground for the respective location so you can view the full details without having to switch to a web browser.
