UEFITool For Mac

UEFITool is an open-source and platform independent tool for both macOS and Windows which enables you to work with different kinds of BIOS files. It comes with several useful features for BIOS modders and a clean user interface.

With the help of the UEFITool application, you can open the following types of BIOS image files: ROM, BIN, CAP, FD, EFI, WPH and BIO, and, if the app recognizes your BIOS file, it displays its contents and internal structure in a list.

Moreover, UEFITool provides several pieces of information about an image file: name, Rebuild status, type, subtype and text.

Besides browsing the structure of BIOS images, UEFITool will also help you you can rebuild, and extract information (with or without headers).

You can perform other additional actions, such as inserting section files before, into or after a selected section in your BIOS image.

After you’ve finished editing the image, you can save it on your local disk under any name and with one of the supported file extensions (ROM, BIN, CAP, FD, EFI or WPH).

As far as the looks go, UEFITool features a very simple, uncluttered and organized user interface. The main window offers a left pane for selecting an action (opening, saving, rebuilding, etc.), a main pane for browsing BIOS image contents and a right pane containing the information of a selected section.

UEFITool is still a work in progress in terms of development. Nevertheless, it offers a handy set of functions for BIOS modding, a very easy-to-use interface and its future development looks promising.
