While it may take a bit of getting used to, the Touch Bar added to the newest MacBook Pro models can prove very helpful. It offers easy access to various functions based on the apps you are using, somewhat alleviating the lack of a touch screen.

Pock was designed to change the main purpose of your MacBook’s Touch Bar by letting it display the app icons that are currently in your Dock. Since laptop screens are quite small, freeing up a bit more space on your desktop can be incredibly helpful.

After installing and running the app, you should see the icons normally shown in the Dock duplicated in the Touch Bar. Pock even displays badges, and you can specify how often the app should check for notifications.

If you prefer to view only your Dock apps and not the Control Strip, you can hide the latter from the application’s preferences. The ESC button is displayed at all times on the left side of the Touch Bar.

Pock can be accessed from your menu bar whenever you want to change your current configuration or shut it down. You can also specify if you want the app to be launched automatically when you start up your device.
