MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017) with Touch Bar Update For Mac

Apple released an updated MacBook Pro with Touch Bar 13-inch model during their 2017 Worldwide Developers Conference, which took place at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California, on June 5th.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar was updated with Intel's Kaby Lake processors, received a 50% faster SSD drive and a better Intel Iris Plus Graphics chipset.

During the 2017 WWDC keynote, Apple also announced that the newly updated MacBook Pro models would start shipping the same day, ready to be delivered to customers who might want to upgrade their older Macs.

However, during testing, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar model with incrementally upgraded hardware was found to suffer from graphics corruption issues and system stability problems.

This prompted Apple to out a firmware update to fix the issues mentioned above before the affected MacBook Pro model hit the market.

To install the MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017) with Touch Bar Update 1.0 update, you have to download it on your MacBook Pro and run the installer package within the downloaded DMG file.

Afterward, you will be prompted to enter your password to allow it to upgrade your new MacBook Pro's firmware and, after a quick restart, the update process will be over.
