Flavours For Mac

Personalizing your system’s appearance can be achieved by replacing specific system files, while making sure you backup the originals. Flavours is a Mac OS X application designed to make the entire process a lot more user friendly.

The Flavours application automatically detects if you are not running the utility from the Applications folder and offers to move itself to that directory in order to eliminate any inconvenience.

At the same time, the app is able to detect if you have an apps uninstaller on your system: using it to remove Flavours from your Mac is not a good idea. To correctly delete Flavours, use the “Uninstall” option from the app’s main menu.

Within the Flavours main window, you can choose to apply a theme from your collection, to browse online and download themes created by other users, or to start creating your own. Getting around the application is very easy and most actions are highly intuitive.

Even designing new system themes should not raise any issues: Flavours provides customization options for various UI styles, enables you to personalize the appearance of specific elements (controls, window’s backgrounds or buttons, menus, or desktop), and enables you to quickly preview the results.

By default, Flavours applies the author and copyright information that has been provided in the Preferences window, but you can easily change that, an add further details in the theme’s Info panel.

Flavours offers you the possibility to personalize your system’s appearance by quickly applying themes created by other users and shared within the community. Moreover, Flavours comes with a built-in themes creator that enables you to design your own.
