Screensaver Ninja is a Mac OS X application that replaces your default screensaver and enables you to display custom content instead of irrelevant graphic images.
The application can show any number of websites for a certain period of time, and you can use it on your own computer, or you can deploy it on a dedicated screen to keep better tabs on specific websites.
Right off the bat, you must configure Screensaver Ninja to be your default screensaver via the System Preferences window. For your convenience, the utility offers you the possibility to perform this change with a simple mouse click.
The next step is to navigate to the Screensaver Ninja main window and input the web addresses you want to monitor. By default, the application will display each site for 30 seconds, but you can easily adjust the time period.
Screensaver Ninja offers you the possibility to preview each website, enables you to change the entries order and allows you to remove completely certain entries. The app’s workflow is quite intuitive.
The screensaver comes with almost no customization options, but you do get to set a custom title bar message. You can add custom CSS and JS code that will be applied to specific websites.
The best part is that Screensaver Ninja, like any other screensaver, can lock your screen when activated, which means that other users cannot tamper with your website’s configuration.
At the same time, Screensaver Ninja automatically refreshes the websites in order to provide information that is up to date.
To conclude, if you need to keep an eye on multiple websites without having to navigate manually to their address and refresh the page, Screensaver Ninja certainly deserves your attention.
