FibreJet For Mac

FibreJet is a SAN management tool for Mac OS X that offers you the possibility to create a storage network that can be accessed by various workstations, regardless of their operating system.

By using a Fibre Channel or an Ethernet iSCSI network, FibreJet offers you the possibility to create a connection between various computers and enables them to access the same shared storage at the same time.

Since FibreJet can allow multiple users to read or write data at the same time, you can save a lot of time by making different project files available to everyone involved at the same time. The tool can also prove useful when sharing data sets for cluster computing.

The best part is that each workstation connected to the SAN network will detect the storage space as being attached directly to the machine. Moreover, FibreJet can work with most RAID or JBOD storage devices, and with different HBAs models.

The FibreJet San management utility comes with its own installer package which reduces the entire procedure to merely following the on-screen instructions. Keep in mind that you will have to restart your computer.

Within the CommandSoft folder newly created in your Application directory, you will find the FibreJet utility, various resources and documentation files, but also the uninstaller script (use it to properly remove FibreJet from your system).

FibreJet also places a Preferences Pane in your System Preferences window where you can easily toggle the volume maintenance function, adjust the startup and AV settings, or input the Hardware Key required to access the app.

FibreJet offers you the possibility to view all the storage locations connected to your SAN network and enables users to access the same data, at the same time, and work together on various projects.
