Split long video and audio files into shorter pieces in order to make them easier to view or listen during short breaks without dealing with complex workflows. #Video cutter #Split video #Shorts creator #Video #Audio #Cutter
Shorts offers you the possibility to transform audio or video files that have a long duration into shorter pieces that can be listened or viewed during brakes.
The smaller files can be transferred to your mobile devices and browsed through a lost easier, hence improving the overall experience.
To start using the Shorts application, you must either drag and drop the files you want to process on top of the app’s main window or make use of the Finder menu. Using the latter is recommended because the app makes selectable only the supported file formats: MP4, WAV, MP3, AVI, or MKV.
Keep in mind that Shorts comes with batch processing capabilities, which means that you can load more than one source file and use the same configuration on all of them. This way, you can save the time you would spend back and forth to set up a new task.
Within the Shorts main window, you get to set the total duration for the short files (going from 5 to 60 minutes) and the recap duration (the last 4 to 30 seconds of the previous short will be inserted at the beginning of the next one).
You get to use the same format or quality as the original file or decide to convert the content using the AVI, MP4, or the MP3 file formats (in the last case, only the audio component will be retained).
You get to adjust both the video resolution and the audio quality level. The generated shorts can be placed in the same folder as the original, or you can provide a custom directory.
To sum up, Shorts provides an alternative to quickly split and re-encode video and audio files in order to make them more accessible during brakes.
The processing task is very easy to set up, and the shorter files can be tracked in a more efficient manner, so you won’t have to navigate again and again through large media files to get where you left off.
