If you ever bought a music album or a movie using Apple's iTunes Store, you know that they also bundle high quality album art. However, multimedia content purchased using other means might or might not have cover art, and this will make your iTunes playlists look messy and not at all pleasant to look at.

To find cover art for all your multimedia content, you can use third party utilities such as CoverLoad to find and download custom artwork for your music and movies.

CoverLoad is a streamlined macOS application designed to make it as fast and as easy as possible to quickly search Apple's iTunes Store for album art for music, movies, podcasts, audiobooks, ebooks, software and TV shows.

You can start scouring the iTunes Store for custom cover art process with the help of the Search field at the bottom of the main screen.

Moreover,  you can switch between the album art catalogs using the drop-down menu at the top of CoverLoad's main window. You can also select an iTunes Store from a different country with the help of the drop-down menu above the Search field.

Once you found the multimedia content you need artwork for on the iTunes Store, you can save it in standard (up to 600x600 pixels) or high (up to 2400x2400 pixels) quality on to your Mac's hard drive by clicking its entry and then clicking on the Save button.

CoverLoad's Preferences window makes it simple to change the default name format for the saved artwork, to configure the app to replace spaces and special characters with underscores, as well as to convert the filenames to lowercase.
