Atraci For Mac

Atraci is yet another desktop client designed for the YouTube service that enables you to listen to music or watch videos without cluttering your web browser. Atraci comes with a minimalist, modern design, integrates a simple search tool, and enables you to import playlists.

To help you get started, Atraci enables you to browse and play the latest YouTube top tracks and featured artists: use your mouse to select the entry you want to listen to. In the bottom area of the main window you will be able to view the basic player controls, while a small panel on the left shows the video content.

Atraci offers you the possibility to view the songs list in icon or list mode. You also have the option to maximize the video panel: the image can cover the entire Atraci window, except the media player bar, that helps you control the playback.

The Atraci application is not designed to connect to your YouTube account, which means that you will not have instant access to your subscriptions. However, Atraci offers you the possibility to import playlists by using the YouTube URL or an Atraci playlist file.

Unfortunately, when dealing with large playlists, Atraci did not import the entire list, but only the first 25 entries. Trying to import playlists by using a playlist file previously generated by Atraci has been unsuccessful.

Atraci offers you the possibility to listen to YouTube music and watch videos without having to go through a web browser. The app automatically block all ads, and comes with simple playback capabilities. The drawback is that the playlist import function does not work properly, and the user interface is frequently unresponsive.
