iMotifs is an open source and streamlined OS X application that enables its users to view and edit nucleotide or amino-acid sequence patterns.
iMotifs is designed as a research tool for computational biologists and provides editing tools for sequence motifs.
iMotifs helps you preview and edit XMS formatted sequence motif set files with just a few mouse clicks.
What's new in iMotifs 0.3.0:
- NMICA analysis tools work on Intel and PPC (32-bit and 64-bit)
- NMICA native library built as an universal binary that supports all of i386, x64_64 and PPC platforms. In English this means that analysis tools should now work on both old and new Macs running OS X 10.5 or above.
- Menu entry ‘Report an issue / Request a feature’ in the iMotifs menu makes reporting bugs and feature requests easier.
