Mirador is a data analysis software solution that offers you the possibility to visualize the content of any database and discover correlation patterns that will help you develop sound hypotheses.

To help you get started, Mirador comes with a collection of example datasets that you get to explore in order to grasp the app’s basic capabilities.

Worth mentioning is that the Mirador project provides online an extensive user manual that takes you through all the basic functions and concepts.

The Mirador app can load datasets stored using the CSV format, and automatically plots graphs using the Scatter, Histogram, or Eikosogram methods. You get to see the representations in the app’s main window, organized into rows and columns.

Worth mentioning is that Mirador cannot open multiple CSV documents concomitantly or work with multiple windows, so you cannot compare two different graphs generated for the same dataset.

Mirador comes with an option to export the data to a PDF document, but during our tests, we did not manage to produce PDFs: the action would simply not complete. However, the export to TSV function did not raise any issues.

Within the Mirador main window, you get to see different variables organized into rows and columns and analyze the way in which they interact with each other. You can toggle the visibility of certain parameters and use the results to form hypotheses based on different correlation patterns.
