EduCalc (formerly Free Graphing Calculator 2) is designed to help you deal with various mathematical problems, such as performing calculations, solving equations, graphing the results, solving triangles, and so on.
What’s more, EduCalc integrates a reference tool that takes you through elementary concepts for various areas, such as algebra, calculus, mechanics, complex numbers, fractions, geometry, and so on.
By default, EduCalc opens its main window to the calculator tool, but keep in mind that you can easily switch to any of the other included panels: Equations, Graph, Reference, Table, Triangle Solver, or Polynomial Solvers.
You can do that either by going through the View menu or by making use of the hotkeys assigned by default. Note that the View menu also allows you to Center the window, switch to full-screen mode, or navigate to the Settings panel (you get to change the default measurement units, the graph types).
Once you start working with the EduCalc tools, you will notice that everything goes smoothly since the app sports a rather intuitive workflow. Most of the included tools work with different parameters, so all you have to do is input the values.
Note that EduCalc also comes with a unit converter that can be accessed through the calculator panel, knows constants required for scientific calculations, and can also handle statistical data.
What’s more, EduCalc integrates a reference tool that helps you refresh your memory when it comes to basic concepts. This way you can easily find a formula that you forgot or go through a subject that is not entirely clear.
To sum up, EduCalc is a great tool for educational purposes that can help students deal with arithmetic functions or calculations, solve equations, generate graphs, solve triangles, convert units, and much more.
