digi.me offers you the possibility to put under the same roof all the personal data shared online via different social media platforms. As a result, the app generates a journal that comprises your online activity, but also the entries added directly via the digi.me interface.

To get started with digi.me, you need to authorize the utility to access data associated with various accounts. The utility can connect to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Flickr, Pinterest, Google+, Viadeo, or RSS accounts.

digi.me will automatically scan your accounts and import posts or events as journal entries that you get to visualize within the app’s main window, or choose to open the original post in your default web browser.

Note that you can manually trigger the sync process any time you like, but digi.me also comes with a scheduler tool that can handle the task automatically and check for updates weekly, daily, hourly, or at custom intervals. This way, your journal will always include the latest social media posts, without requiring user intervention.

Within the digi.me main window you get to navigate your journal, organize entries into collections, or use predefined widgets to see the used filters, the latest posts or photos, the most active or influential people in your friends list, the most popular entries, and so on.

Note that besides the data gathered from other platforms, digi.me also offers you the option to input new journal entries directly: you get to input text content and attach image files. The app also allows you to export any of the entries to PDF or CSV files, or send the data to your Evernote account.

The digi.me utility offers you the possibility to choose with whom you want to share the centralized information in order to get better services and other benefits.

However, at the moment the exporting options seem to be limited to posts published on the same day or that are included in the same collection.
