WhatsChat offers you the possibility to use the WhatsApp web application to connect to the instant messaging the service on your desktop computer without having to waste your resources by using a full-featured web browser.

To be able to use the WhatsApp service within the WhatsChat app, you need to have access to a phone that has already been configured to work with the chat service.

On the mobile device, you must navigate to the Web App menu and scan the QR code generated within the WhatsChat main window by using the phone's camera.

Once the connection is established, you will be able to see your current WhatsApp conversations on the desktop side, post new messages, share images, create new groups, and so on.

Since WhatsChat retains the same design used by the WhatsApp web application, finding your way around is comes naturally.

Via the WhatsChat Preferences, to make sure your conversations remain private, you can easily set a lock screen time frame and protect the app’s interface with a passkey. Moreover, you can change the color for the interface header, or adjust the window opacity.

WhatsChat can be used in full-screen mode, and you can also manually resize the app’s window, but some of the panels do not automatically adjust to the new layout. As a result, you might have to increase the window size to be able to view their content.

WhatsChat provides support for all the tools and functionalities included in the WhatsApp web application while allowing you to access the service in a standalone application.

WhatsChat allows you to send and receive text messages, to share image files, to join or create group chats, to receive notification alerts, and so on. However, you still need to have access to a mobile device that has the WhatsApp utility installed.
