Weather Live For Mac

Weather Live is a useful and intuitive Mac OS X application that can help you check the current weather conditions and view a seven day weather forecast for different locations from around the world.

Thanks to Weather Live you will always know how to dress and what to expect when going outside whether it is rainy, cloudy, sunny, snowy or even stormy. You can easily check the weather conditions and enjoy an accurate forecast for your city or any other place from any corner of the Earth.

What is more, Weather Live is capable to animate your Mac’s screen with live weather scenes that reflect the weather conditions and let you know how the outside weather is without even looking outside your window.

The current temperature for the selected location is also displayed as an icon badge right in your Dock. You can check the weather status in your Mac’s status bar even when the application is closed.

Weather Live comes with two different layouts that you can personalize according to your requirements and preferences. You can choose between a Dashboard and Text Only layout. Although the Text Only mode is not as appealing as the Dashboard mode, it offers you the possibility to check more parameters at the same time.

Under the Layouts tab from the Preferences window you can decide which are the four or six parameters that will be visible in the Dashboard and Text Only layout. Hence, you can monitor the humidity and precipitation level, pressure, visibility, wind chill, dew point, chance of precipitation as well as the sunset, sunrise, moonset and moonrise time.

On top of that, you can change the speed and temperature measurement system from miles per hour to kilometers per hour or meters per second and from Celsius to Fahrenheit. You can also measure the pressure in mbar, mm or inches. Moreover, you can configure Weather Live to show the local time in the 12 hour or 24 hour format.
