VideoTweet is designed to help you upload videos to your Twitter account without worrying too much about the service’s requirements or limitations. The app helps you trim only the interesting parts, and lets you know if you went over the 30 seconds threshold.

To be able to use the VideoTweet application, you must navigate to the Preferences window and add at least one Twitter account. You will be directed to the authorization page in your default web browser, so all you have to do is log into your account and confirm the connection.

Note that next to the text field included in the VideoTweet main window you will be able to see the avatar for the currently active Twitter account.

At the same time, the respective image comes with a contextual menu that enables you to switch to or go through the authorization process again with another account.

VideoTweet will work with any video file formats that are compatible with QuickTime, such as MOV, MPG, MP4, AVI, and so on. Just drag and drop the respective file on top of the VideoTweet main window and the utility will allow you to preview the entire recording.

Naturally, to respect the Twitter restrictions, in most cases, you will have to select only the part that is most representative: just use the built-in trim tool for the task. Before posting, VideoTweet will also compress the image while trying to maintain the best quality.

However, VideoTweet does not allow you to preview the video selection before posting, and it does not seem to keep the image centered. Just make sure to review the tweet after publishing to make sure everything looks good.
