Torch For Mac

Torch is a smooth-running and user-oriented Mac OS X application that provides the required features and tools to browse the web, share images and link via social networking websites, download torrents and grab multimedia files.

Torch is based on the Chronium open-source project and, as a result, its user interface is very similar to Google Chrome. However, Torch brings a series of additions and improvements designed to enhance your browsing experience and speed up your workflow.

From Torch’s main window you can easily save media files, share links and manage torrent files with just a couple of mouse clicks. Thanks to the embedded torrent downloader you can add, remove, pause and restart torrents, limit the download speed, set an upload ratio and more.

What is more, Torch enables you to download media files to your Mac’s hard disk via the built-in media grabber, you only have to click on Audio / Video download button and wait for the file to be saved. Thus, you can create your own collection of videos that you can enjoy even when you are offline.

On top of that, you can easily share your discoveries via various social networking websites by simply clicking on the “Share button”.

Searching the web for terms or sharing things with your friends and family couldn’t be easier. With the help of the two side panels, you can drag an item to the left to share it or to the right panel to search it on the web. Both panels are fully customizable and you can change the order of the sharing websites and search engines.

Torch comes with its own social music application that provides you access to your favorite songs, artists and albums, create and save your one playlists and see what your friends are listening to.
