Social Butter+ For Mac

Social Butter+ offers you the possibility to monitor multiple social accounts from the same desktop application. The utility can connect to your Facebook, Feedly, Google+, Instagram, and Twitter accounts and allows you to interact with the posts.

Social Butter+ comes with an account manager where you must input your credentials for each of the supported services and authorize Social Butter+ to manage your accounts.

The drawback is that Social Butter+ does not allow you to connect to multiple accounts for the same service.

Once everything is configured, Social Butter+ will aggregate the posts for each service in the main window, and you get to see them organized by different criteria: news, nearby, mentions, likes, requests, followers, following, and so on.

When you select one of the available feeds in the Social Butter+ main window, you can see all the posts in the feed, and choose to see details inside the application.

Depending on the post source or type, you can either comment on the subject, like it, share it on Twitter or Facebook, send it to others by email, and so on. Note that photos and videos can also be saved locally.

Social Butter+ also offers you the possibility to post new messages to your Twitter and Facebook accounts or handle other management tasks such as blocking users.

Social Butter+ aims to create a well-organized space where you can keep track of posts, messages, or articles regardless of the service that is used to share them. As a result, you will not clutter your web browser or have to juggle will multiple standalone applications.

However, Social Butter+ does not keep a clear delimitation between the feeds generated by each service which leads to confusion.
