ReplyWithHeader For Mac

ReplyWithHeader is a Mail.app plug-in developed to seamlessly integrate with your mail client in order to bring the Outlook Mail Header functionality to your Mac computer.

The ReplyWithHeader software package includes, among other things, the project’s source code, so to actually install the plug-in on your computer, you must find and launch the Install-or-Upgrade-or-Reenable.command file in the Package folder.

This command file will open in your Terminal application, start the installation process, and display a confirmation message when the procedure is done.

The same Package folder also includes the Uninstall.command file that will correctly remove the plug-in from your system.

Via the ReplyWithHeader Preferences window, you can easily decide what type of information you want to include in the header automatically added to your replies or to your forwarded messages. The same area allows you to customize the font style, size and color, and the label design.

The ReplyWithHeader plug-in integrates instantly with your Mail.app and offers you the possibility to include relevant information in a header added to your replies.

The same rule applies when you are forwarding an email message. This way, you can still have access to a functionality similar to the Microsoft Outlook mail header, even if you switch to the Apple Mail client.
