Playall For Mac

Playall is a video player designed to eliminate the need to interact with various online hosting platforms through a full-featured web browser and preserve your resources to be used in a more efficient manner.

Within the Playall interface, you get to search for videos by using keywords, review the results list with ease, and then play the videos without seeing any ads. However, the built-in search tool is not able to find specific videos even if you provide the full title.

Right off the bat, you nee to use the Playall Find Videos tool to search for videos: the developers state that the app can render content hosted on YouTube, Ted Talks, Vimeo. DailyMotion, Bloomberg, and other sources.

However, during our tests, we have noticed that the Playall results list included only videos hosted on YouTube. On the other hand, we have not been able to find a particular YouTube video even if we have added the full video title in the search field.

As soon as you select a particular entry in the search results list, Playall opens the video in the built-in player, and you get to start or pause the playback, adjust the volume, or choose to toggle the control bars visibility.

Note that Playall also offers you the possibility to adjust the playback speed, to jump back or forward within the video, or to go to the next or previous entry in the results list. All these adjustments have to be made through the associated menus since there is no support for keyboard controls.

Playall brings together a search engine and a built-in video player to make it possible to both find and watch videos without cluttering your web browser or having to see ads.

Nonetheless, the Playall search results are quite limited, and you don’t seem to be able to find specific videos. What’s more, Playall does not come with support for working with playlists, which limits the interaction with the video hosting platforms.
